The Circle is for anyone who believes in the power of community and wants to be part of growing Africa's VFX industry.
Not at all. While we are proudly rooted in Johannesburg and focused on building Africa's VFX community, we welcome talent from across the continent and beyond. If you care about African storytelling and the people creating it, you belong here.
Membership to The VFX Circle is free. We're a nonprofit built on the belief that access to community and opportunity shouldn't come with a price tag.

We're not a formal school, but learning is central to what we do. Through our masterclasses and community conversations, members get access to real-world knowledge from working professionals. Think of it as learning alongside the industry, not just about it.
Our masterclasses are recorded sessions led by industry professionals covering workflows, techniques, tools, and career insights. They're designed to be practical and honest, the kind of knowledge you'd normally only get from being in the room with someone who's done the work.
